A second Ebola treatment center is set ablaze in eastern Congo, with 18 suspected cases fleeing

Angry residents in eastern Congo have attacked and burned a tent that was part of a health center treating Ebola patients. Eighteen people suspected of infection left the facility in the town of Mongbwalu in the melee following the attack on Friday night. A local health director says they are now unaccounted for. No one was hurt in the attack, the second this week. Authorities have banned funeral wakes and gatherings of more than 50 people to curb the virus's spread. The World Health Organization says the outbreak poses a “very high” risk for Congo. There is no available vaccine for this rare type of Ebola.
